Day 2: Flight


Day 2's photo challenge was flight. So, I stood on my porch for around 30 minutes waiting for a bird to come flying by. Finally one came by and this is what I got. 30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 1

Day 1: Self Portrait



A blog that I just started following , called Blessed Beyond Words, is doing a 30 day photo challenge. I love photo challenges! This one was difficult for me because I would much rather be behind the camera! Ha! I hate photos of me! Ick! I took around 30 photos until I found one that was decent. Maybe tomorrow's challenge will be easier!

My Niece, Chelsi.

Meet my beautiful niece, Chelsi. She (along with her little brother and my sister) is in for a visit. They live in Ohio and get to come visit us once a year. I had some new photography lighting equipment and I needed to try it out so I asked Chelsi to be my "model" and she was more than willing! She made a great one! I hope you enjoy these pictures I took today of my niece, Chelsi!

Spring Is Here!

Sunday was the first day of spring! I love it! Usually, I'm a cold weather type person but not this year! Last year I planted 2 trees in my yard. This year they are getting ready to bloom! So I decided to take some pictures of them tonight. I chose one photo that I liked best and used some actions that I recently put on my Photoshop. I think they turned out really pretty. Love That Shot Link-Up: All In The Details

This month's link-up theme at http://www.lovethatshot.com/ is "All in the details". There are many ways that you could interpret this theme, but this is what I chose. Trinity loves books! She seriously could look at books all day long. I took this photograph this morning of her looking at every single detail in this Veggie Tales book. She was trying to "read" it to me, but I couldn't make out anything she was saying! She is so sweet! I love my baby girl!
