Pricing Information

I just wanted to do a post on my blog about my portrait pricing and details. I know that there is a lot of work that goes into having portraits made on my part and on your part. I know that you are thinking, "What will we wear?", "Where will we have the picture's taken at?", "When should we schedule an appointment?", and "What will it cost?".

Having portraits made is really important and is worth every bit of work that goes into it. I love it when I get that perfect shot, and I know that you would too!

So here is some information about how things work with me and my photography business. I know that some of the ways I do things are different from other photographers, but this is how I want to do it and I want to make it easy and affordable for everyone.

I have a $50.00 photography session fee. A photography session is any amount of time needed. I do not limit the amount of time I spend for a session. I also do not limit the number of people in a session. It can be 1 or 10 people! Makes no difference to me. A session usually lasts 2 hours at the most, but for a newborn session, please allow at least 2 hours for feeding, changing, etc.. (The session fee is due the day of the photography session.)

I am an on-location photographer which means I will take your photos at whatever location you choose.  If you need help choosing a location, please contact me and I will help you out. I know a lot of great locations!

Please allow up to 2 weeks for me to fully edit all photos from your session. I will personally deliver the CD with the copyrighted photos on it and give you an order form so you can order your portraits. I do not give copyright releases. I order the portraits through a special professional photography lab once you complete your order and send the order form to me. The portraits are usually delivered within a week of your order but please allow more time as needed.

I have no limit to how much your portrait order needs to total. Your payment is due at the time the order is placed.

4x6 - $3
5x7 - $5
8x10 - $8
10x13 - $10
