The "R" Family Portraits

Here is a sneak peek from a session that I done Saturday. This was one fun session! This little guy is too cute and has the best personality! He was so fun to work with. He had me laughing the whole time!

He is turning one, so his family asked me to do his one year pictures. I was so excited since this was my first time doing one year photographs except for Trinity's little mini session I done last year. I can't wait to do more in the future!

Trinity's Easter Portraits 2011

I finally got Trinity's Easter pictures taken! I was a day late (I took them the day after Easter), but I am so glad they are done! I was really nervous about how Trinity would do during our session, but she was great! I was so thankful! She is not a bad little girl at all, but she hates it when I get out the camera. Ha!

I took these pictures at an awesome location. And best of all... it's my mother-in-law and father-in-law's house! They have an awesome yard and plants and stuff. This is the first time I have taken Trinity's pictures here, but I'll probably be back! Also, thank you Phillip and Lori for helping me with these pictures and letting me use your yard, even though we were all muddy by the time we got finished!

Trinity's Easter dress looks a little "old fashioned" to me. Not old fashioned like bib over-alls but I guess like Victorian vintage?? So that's the theme I wanted for her photos. Like a dreamy effect? Anyways, I'll hush so you can just look at the pictures yourself!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 22

Day 22: Fashion

I don't know much about fashion. But, what I do know is that I love these sunglasses! I have looked that them in JcPenney for a long time and when I looked at them today, I saw that they were on sale! So I bought them!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 21

Day 21: Church

Our challenge for today was "Church". And it just so happened to fall on our church night! So I was able to get a picture of our church today! I absolutely love my church. It's the best one EVER!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 20

Day 20: Books

Today I thought, "When Trinity falls asleep for her nap, I'll take my photo challenge picture for today." When I walked through the living room, Trinity was asleep on the couch with one of her books. She loves books! So this is the perfect picture of her.

I posted pictures from my latest photo session below, so don't forget to scroll down and check it out. Or you can just click here.

Baby Bristol & Her Family

Saturday, I had the privilege of photographing this sweet family. They scheduled their session about a month ago and I was so excited! I love taking pictures of babies!

The session didn't go as planned because little Bristol really did not want her picture taken! However, I was able to get a few good ones. I hope you all enjoy these pictures.

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 19

Day 19: Insects

I got 2 pretty good photos of insects today. Although I came very close to getting stung a couple of times! It was worth it! I couldn't decide which one was my favorite so I posted both.

If you want to look at all the other insect pictures, visit Blessed Beyond Words, here.

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 18

Day 18: Reflections

This is Trinity's reflection as she sleeps in my bed. And yes, I know that my mirror is dirty! Ha!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 17

Day 17: Emotion

Since Trinity is asleep right now, her face isn't showing much emotion. So, I decided to take a picture of this decoration that I bought for Trinity's room. I think it's really cute!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 16

Day 16: Toys

For today's challenge, I thought that I would take a picture of Trinity's favorite toy. Meet Ally. She is a very friendly alligator that goes everywhere with us!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 15

Day 15: Vintage/Antique

This is a picture of a baby blanket that my grandma made for me when I was born. Trinity fell asleep on my bed today so I threw this blanket over her and took a photo. I faded it a bit in Photoshop to give it an "aged" look.

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 14

Day 14: Food

I know, I know. Today's challenge was supposed to be architecture but I thought that it was yesterday, so therefore my challenge for today is going to be food. You would think I would be able to keep these things straight. Right? Ha!

Anyways, this little, okay HUGE, pecan roll from Panera Bread has been sitting on my counter all day. Now, I am on a diet so I have not eaten it. It has been saying mean things to me since it found out that I am not eating it. I am saving it for my husband. I sure hope he enjoys it. NOT! (Just kidding.)

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 13

Day 13: Architecture... No. Wait! Food? Oh well!

Well, I thought for sure that today's challenge was architecture, but after I already started writing this post, I found out it was actually FOOD!!! So I guess I'll just switch days around a little. Ha! So tomorrow's challenge will be food (unless, of course, I forget!)

I had a crazy time trying to come up with an architecture photo. I have thought all day on what I might take a picture of. However when I got home from church tonight, it hit me... I could take a picture of John 14:2. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

This is a different look on this day's (actually tomorrow's) challenge. I know I can't wait to see all the "architecture" in that city. I'm sure it will be pretty awesome!

30 Day Phot Challenge - Day 12

Day 12: Movement

When I saw the topic for today, I knew just what I would get a picture of. My little girl! She is constantly on the move. It's so hard to get her picture sometimes, okay all the time, because she won't sit still. I am grateful that she is a mover though because she has been sick the past couple of days and hasn't felt like moving very much. She feels a lot better today! Praise the Lord!

This is a picture of her and our dog, Dottie, chasing me! I love it!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 11

Day 11: Household Item

Today we were supposed to take a photo of a household item. It could be our favorite or least favorite. Well, this is my absolute favorite! I love my Kitchen Aid stand mixer!

Day 10: Technology

As soon as I saw that today's challenge was technology, I thought about my iPhone. I love my phone. It goes everywhere with me!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 9

Day 9: Texture

I hate so bad that I missed a day of this challenge. I was gone all day yesterday and wasn't able to take my "texture" photo. So here it is. This is a basket that I have for my baby photography. I thought that it had a nice texture. If you want to join in on this challenge, visit Blessed Beyond Words here.

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 8

Day 8: Where I Live

Today's photo challenge is "where I live". We were supposed to take a picture of something unique to where we live. So I decided to take a picture of my front yard. My front yard is huge. My family members own almost all the land around where I live so we (pretty much) have a ton of land to "play" on. I love being able to raise my baby girl up with all this land that she can play on.

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 7

Day 7: Macro

Today's photo challenge was "macro". I decided to take a picture of a dandelion. A lot of people hate dandelions but I think they are kind of pretty!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 6

Day 6: Shadows

This is my "shadows" photo. My baby girl helped me with today's photograph. She loved being able to go outside and play today, but I think she was wondering why mommy was following her around with a camera. Ha! It's not the best picture of a shadow, but I love it anyway!

30 Day Photo Challenge - Day 5

Day 5: Spring

I am so blessed! Yesterday's challenge was water, and it rained all day. Today's challenge is spring and the sun has been shining all morning! I took these pictures this morning and I couldn't choose just one so I posted my 2 favorite! The first picture is of some flowers my MIL cut for me from her flower garden yesterday and the second picture is of my little tree in my front yard. I took a picture of it about a week ago, you can see it here.
